MESSAGE FROM THE ESTATE MANAGER
Dear Fourways Gardens Residents,
As we reflect on February, we are reminded of the saying, “The strongest steel is forged in the hottest fire.” At Fourways Gardens, our Board of Directors and HOA team remain unwavering in our commitment to raising the bar for our community. Whether it’s refining our processes, enforcing Service Level Agreements to maintain high standards from service providers, or rolling out exciting new projects, we are dedicated to ensuring that Fourways Gardens remains an aspirational estate to call home.
February was also a month filled with moments of joy and celebration. The Gardens Bistro’s inaugural Night Market was a tremendous success, drawing enthusiastic participation from our residents. Our collaboration with the Evergreen group for a Cocktail Evening not only provided a fantastic social gathering but also secured a valuable sponsorship for our beloved Classics Club. Furthermore, the ongoing efforts to enhance our common areas and the unwavering generosity of our community in supporting charitable causes have been truly inspiring.
Reflecting on Relationships – Growing Together
Just as with any relationship, the HOA takes time to evaluate longstanding partnerships to ensure they continue to deliver value for all parties involved. This approach has recently led the HOA to reflect on our relationship with the Fourways Road Runners Association. Interestingly, many may not be aware that the official registration name is the Fourways Gardens Roadrunners Association, making them very much a part of the Fourways Gardens family. Understanding where we’ve come from helps us shape the future, and as we’ve reassessed our shared vision, we are thrilled to announce initiatives that will bring exciting events and campaigns benefiting not just runners, but the entire Fourways Gardens community. Stay tuned for more details!
Exciting Events & Community Engagement
Our events calendar is in full swing, and there is plenty to look forward to in the coming months! One of the highlights for our younger residents is the much-anticipated Family Campout, scheduled for Saturday, 8 March 2025 (weather permitting). Be sure to book your spot and stock up on snacks for an unforgettable experience under the stars!
Building on the success of our Meet & Greet event last year, we are excited to host another gathering for new members of our community. If you haven’t received your invitation yet, please reach out to Francois at francois@fwg.co.za.
And, of course, Easter and Passover is just around the corner, and we have some wonderful surprises planned for our residents. Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements!
A Community That Evolves & Thrives
Growth and evolution are key to maintaining the vibrant lifestyle that makes Fourways Gardens a sanctuary within the city. By ensuring the basics are in place, we create an environment where improvement and progress flourish. More than ever, residents appreciate the unique lifestyle our estate offers, with a diverse range of activities available:
Fourways Gardens is more than just an estate—it’s a place where you know your neighbours, where children can play and simply be children, and where we look out for one another. This is what true community is about. Why would you want to live anywhere else?
Take care of yourselves and each other, and we look forward to exciting March and April ahead!
Sincerely,
Charlene Marlin
